Sealing a wash basin with silicon or caulk
Wash basins have to be sealed to prevent leaks and other damage. The same applies to bathtubs. The sealing can achieved using silicon or caulk. The procedure of silicon sealing stops water penetration into joints around wash basins, bathtubs or shower trays. Contaminants like lubricate and grease could prevent the silicon from bonding so make the area dirt-free and clean thoroughly with alcohol before you begin.
